ARG's History
ARG Europe Ltd was established in 1983 as Asbestos Removal (Groves) Ltd.
It was created from the joint venture of the Directors of Groves Construction Ltd and a safety consultancy company.
A Professional Approach
The directors of both companies had recognised the need at that time for a professional approach to asbestos removal within the Construction Industry. The aim was to build and train a dedicated team to a high and reliable standard, ideals that the Directors hold both strong and vital to this day.
Groves Construction Ltd was a long established company with a high pedigree, well respected and with over 100 years experience within the Construction Industry. Many of the Groves personnel migrated to the newly formed Asbestos Removal (Groves) Ltd and trained to meet the new challenges posed by the asbestos industry. Some of the original founder members of the asbestos removal team remain with us 25 years later providing experience and expertise that we believe no other asbestos removal company can offer.
In 1987 Groves Construction Ltd ceased trading. Asbestos Removal (Groves) Ltd remained with Managing Director, Douglas Olive and Martin Bye as Financial Director. A new addition to the ARG Group was then formed. ARG (Special Works) Ltd, a construction and refurbishment Company, which later became renamed and is now known as ARG Contracts Ltd.
ARG's Growth Demands New Premises
In 1995, recognising the need to expand, ARG moved 6 miles from its origins in Tottenham, North London to Ponders End in Middlesex. And with the move to these larger, purpose built premises came a new image and a new name. ARG Europe Ltd, ready and able to meet the challenges of an ever changing industry.
So an idea will start to emerge about ARG Europe Ltd, how we have combined more than 100 years experience within the construction industry with the latest to reap from this experience and embrace today's technology, producing a stable, highly skilled and knowledgeable team.

ARG Europe Ltd has achieved the goals of the founding directors and is a leading professional asbestos removal company within a group, which can offer its clients bespoke services, tailored to meet the requirements of individual situations such as tight schedules or out of hours working, all carried out in a safe and environmentally friendly manner.
The Company continues to build on its achievements and strives to develop new and innovative ways to provide an even more comprehensive, and safe service to its clients, investing in new equipment and technology, investing in its staff training and investing in the future.
ARG, over the years, has formed many working alliances with other companies in different fields of expertise, together they have helped ARG to grow into the modern, successful company that ARG is today.
